On November 5th, 2024 voters in Lake County will have the opportunity to vote to protect something we hold dear - the Lake County Forest Preserves. A place to walk with friends, go for a bike ride, have a family reunion around a picnic table, or just know that nature and wildlife are out there, thriving. VOTE YES to ensure that residents can enjoy the Forest Preserves for generations to come.

Voting Yes is a win for Lake County!

The Lake County Forest Preserves Proposition will allow the Forest Preserves to access state and federal matching funds, so Lake County gets its share.

Now more than ever, we need places close to home where kids and adults can shut off their devices and enjoy and unwind in nature.

Protecting the forest preserves means protecting our clean drinking water and Lake County’s water supply.

The proposition would also ensure additional resources to protect wildlife that call Lake County home.
